February 1991 saw the beginning of a new era of restaurants in Wilmington.

Opened by the award-winning, world-traveling chef, Dan Butler (BigChefGuy.com), Griglia Toscana was created to give Wilmingtonians a place to go enjoy a casual neighborhood Italian dinner with contemporary recipes and great company.

As part of the 10 year celebration the establishment was completely renovated and reopened as Toscana Kitchen + Bar. A lounge was added as a relaxing environment for Wilmington adults to unwind while waiting for their meal. It also provides an alternative to the more chaotic and louder night spots in Trolley Square.
